Weston Playhouse Theatre Company
Vermont's oldest professional theatre company and one of the leaders in the New England theater scene. We were disappointed once. We arrived to the show only to be informed that the actors smoke on stage. What?! We could not believe our eyes. Apparently, this sort of thing is still possible in 21st century America. Of course, we were told, this was due to "director's adherence to the atmosphere of the play" (it was set in 1930-ies). We had to return the tickets. At least they issued a refund without any fuss.
